Practice…

July 3rd, 2007

It’s 12:44am… do you know where your missions team is?

I can account for 5 of them… 4 of the adult guys are over at Pastor Man’s and one adult gal is sleepy soundly in Matthew’s room…

which means that 3 teens and AnchorMan (the intern) are unaccounted for.

They were told that they needed to get up early in the morning to head to the RAM House for missions work. Apparently when you’re 14 and 15 that doesn’t mean “be home by 11″… perhaps they should’ve made it a little clearer…

We’re smart adults… we sent the teens out with AnchorMan, who’s not from here… to the mall. Apparently we have a Hollisters (?) and the girls were dying to go… I think they swindled AnchorMan into taking them. They also were going to the movies….

So here I sit… waiting for them to get home…and worrying…

I’ve taken a liking to these gals… I’m getting a glimpse into what life is going to be like in 6 years when Samara is 14…

PRAY

Oh, I see headlights in the driveway now… safe and sound…

Getting them up in the morning will prove to be interesting!

Until next time…

Heather

Sorry, but I found this hilarious :) Especially in today’s time of every one carrying a cell phone! They’d better be calling home if they are going to be late — and yeah, next time you’ll be more specific and ask for a time ;)

LOL! I’m sure I’d be sitting and worrying too but then again Lisa B is right - everyone has a cell phone in today’s society so maybe I wouldn’t be worrying because I’m sure they’d call to let me know they were going to be late. I’m glad the teen years is a ways away yet…LOL!
