Almost two weeks later, my house is back to normal.

My big rearranging project is done… and I have pictures!

Unfortunately, I don’t have pictures of the middle room (the now craft room) before… and it was a mess. It was our catch all room. But when we first moved in, it was my bedroom… then it was my office… then the catch all room… and now it’s the craft room!

The kids already broke into the crafts last night… no, it’s not much, but it’s a place for me to scrapbook when I have the time.

You’ll also notice, in the corner table with the lamp on it, that’s our dining room table. In addition to being the catch all room, it doubles as our dining room when we have company. (The kids and I typically eat in the kitchen on the little table in there. But we don’t have company for dinner often, and there’s still room to pull the table into the middle if we need to.

Now for the office. I found a few pictures of before….

My desk (and that’s two computers that I’m working off of… which means, two mice and two keyboards…..)

And here was my scrapbooking area… which was right next to my desk…

And now?

My new L shaped desk… and no more two computers… now I just have a dual monitor….

Matthew’s corner… which is to the right of my desk… and his is still messy as he didn’t finish putting his stuff back together before we had to leave for the movies…

Samara’s desk… which is to the left of mine… and I’m already getting accused every day of leaving stuff on her desk… perhaps I should’ve put her on the right of me and not the left…

And then there’s the last corner… we each have a corner of the office… but the last corner is the bookshelves

I was going to take the old bookshelf out and put it in the craft room, but there’s no room, really… and it matched in here… and when I got rid of the old setup, I lost my office supplies shelves, etc… so I decided to keep it…

Eventually (read: when they go on sale again) I’m going to get another matching bookshelf for that corner and toss the old one… we have a history that I’ll have to tell you about sometime.. but I think I got my $15 out of it. Plus, my arm needs time to recuperate from putting it together yesterday… it took me an hour and a half AND I had to get my drill out to help with getting it together…

So anywho… that’s my new digs… and thanks to Becki who talked to me last night while I got my whole room clean… we need to scrub the kitchen in this house and we’re done!!!!
