You know you’re in trouble when…. at Desperately Seeking Sanity

you get an email from your mom that simply states “WHERE ARE YOU????????????????”

The reason?

It’s been a week since I’ve talked to her on the phone. I left her a message on Friday… and Saturday… and she called back and got my voicemail…

then I tried to call on Monday… but she wasn’t home…

I got an email Monday night… and then last night… and then tonight….

because I’ve not called or emailed.

She worries… I like that…

she cares…

so I just wrote her a big long emailed and promised to call tomorrow…

now, someone remind me to call!

I am thankful for parents who worry about me because it means they care; that they want the best for me.

oh man! i could go for weeks with out talking to my parents or even seeing them and they live less than 10 miles from me!! this is a good reminder to continue to change that - thanks!

:)I get emails like that from my mom as well. I love that they realize email is probably a better means of contacting us these days.

Having protective parents at our age rocks.

I talk to my mom every single day on the phone - just long enough for her to say “hi, how are you? how is Caleb? and that’s the end of the conversation…LOL.

By the way - did u remember to call your mom? LOL.
