I am not a fan…
…of Valentine's Day.
There I said it.
And no, it has nothing to do with the fact that I don't have a valentine…
It has nothing to do with the fact that I will be sitting in a hotel room in Mississippi alone on Thursday…
I honestly just think that you can say "I love you" any day of the year and do it in more creative ways than chocolates (which don't last) and flowers (which also don't last)… and I think you should celebrate Valentine's day everyday…
Now, don't get me wrong… I love getting things like cards, flowers, candy, etc… hello? I'm female… we like that kind of stuff… but I just think that this holiday has gotten WAY out of hand…
But I love red and purple and pink and I just love this new layout…
So, for those of you who just love this Hallmark, totally commercial holiday, I put it up just for you…
And wait until you see how I decorate my digs for the Ultimate Blog Party…

I kind of agree with you. LOL. I'm a big sucker for Valentine's Day so I don't totally agree with you. Yes the chocolates and flowers don't last but it's still fun getting into the Holiday.
My new ritual every year is that I buy myself flowers
