- I’m home. I got an earlier flight home on Saturday, putting me here at 4pm instead of 11pm. And the kids got to come pick me up at the airport… that’s the first time in 2.5 years that it’s happened.
- Also, it’s the first flight in 2.5 years that hasn’t been delayed anywhere and was right on schedule.
- I have new toys to play with. The company gave me a Palm Treo 680 and Matthew got Guitar Hero II while I was gone. I’m over stimulated with all the things I get to play with now.
- Technology (Guitar Hero and the Treo) makes me feel dumb.
- I just learned how to switch lines on the old cell phone without hanging up on someone and now I have to re-learn it.
- I read 3 books last week… all were phenomenal.
- I had a date tonight. It went well. I like him.
- My BFF had all the laundry done in the house and all the dishes done when I arrived home. The house was clean, the kids’ rooms were clean and there were meals in the freezer.
- I pink puffy heart my BFF. She saved me… and I am forever grateful.
- I’m glad the kids are going back to school tomorrow.
- Why can’t I manage to figure out the red/blue chord on Guitar Hero? It’s like my fingers won’t go that way.
- Did I mention I had another date? Or that I like him?
- Missouri, this time of year is cold and has ice that you can’t scrape off with a credit card.
- Rental cars in that section of the country should come with ice scrapers.
- It cost me more in taxes than it did the daily rental for my car in Missouri… unreal.
I think that’s all. I’m too tired to process.

I can’t get from blue to red either on GH. My proudest moment so far on GH is doing a duet with Slash and rocking. Us rockin momma’s gotta stick together.
I know this is weird but it’s really bothered me when you mentioned about how there are no ice scrappers in the rental cars. It just seems completely illogical.

My mother has had a laptop for over a year, but never learned to use the thing, so she finally signed up for a basic computer course at our local community college. So far, she’s leared what a hard drive is, and how data storage has progressed from floppy disks down to jump drives. She’s pretty overwhelmed with her intro to technology!
(Oh, we tried to teach her computer skills, by the way, and it wasn’t working. She figured she might have a better time of it from someone she wasn’t related to!)
