Every day after school the kids and I race to get our homework done, our chores done, meals eaten, and off to what ever activity it is that we have so that at 8pm we can park ourselves infront of the TV…more specifically the PS2.
And with that PS2? Comes Guitar Hero.

Am a HERO!!!!
But we challenge one another and Matthew keeps track of all of our ultimate high schools are percentage of notes hit and how many stars we got and our note streaks. He used to keep track of how many times we failed, but he stopped that.
He’s the record keeper of the family. He’s very meticulous about it.
Tonight, while the kids were with their dad, I sat down to play. I was very close to beating the medium level and I finished it all up and there came the Encore. FREE BIRD!
I was stoked…. but I failed and put it away for a bit.
When the kids got home, I told Matthew what I did… that I unlocked Free Bird and reached the family high score.
The gloves came off…
It’s time to rock…
I will beat Mom’s score…
I wonder when they are going to let me play Mother again? (Note… this is one of the two songs she will play)
I had it… but I let her play again and she beat me!
Well, since they won’t let me play, I’ll just sit here and look pretty…
I am still the Guitar Hero in this family… at least until Matt gets home from school tomorrow…and then we’ll start all over…
