unless your kid got picked for All County Choir…
Six 5th graders from each Elementary school were picked and they worked hard to perform Tuesday night…
Look at all those kids…
Matthew’s head is right above the lady in the suit’s head…
I was so proud of him.. I beamed. I cried. It was short, but amazing…
And it was great… his dad was there, his big brother and his wife, and his teacher came. He was so proud and so was I.
It was a great honor… and here’s Matthew singing “It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing”
Please try not to laugh at his head going a mile a minute…
and enjoy the smile at the very end… it was the biggest smile the entire night… I think he was a little nervous!
Until next time…
Heather
PS. As I was previewing this Matthew came up to me and said, “Is that actually how I sounded?”
“Yes,” I replied.
“Pretty good, huh?” with a HUGE grin on his face…
What a nut!!!

Laugh? No way! He’s got great stage presence and animation — not something you see a lot in kids that age when they perform. Kudos to him — he seems very talented and not afraid to show it!
Oh he loved this comment!!! Thank you!!!
But yes… he’s a ham, and he loves to perform… I can’t wait to see what the future has for him!
