I’m not even sure I knew what prom was when I was in third grade! At least, if I did, I never must have thought about it!

I “followed” you over her from Chic Critique (don’t worry I swear I’m not a stalker). I HAD to comment on this post though… oh, how I can relate. I take it our daughter are the same age… third grade? Anyhooo…LOVE TJ Maxx! I agree- it’s AWESOME. I spend entirely too much in there.

My (six-year-old) little one asked me the other day as we were leaving the phone store if she could have my old phone for when she got old enough - I explained that by that time (like, when she has a job and can pay for it!) they’ll have completely different phones.

(Yeah, and my dad told me that when I started driving that we’d have rocket cars, but these are PHONES we’re talking about here!)

I’m thrilled that my daughter (13 today!) is still a sweet, innocent kid and not at all pushing for makeup, hoochey shirts, etc. I treasure these days… You are right to do the same; some day, she will never let you near her at the mall!!!
