That Someone always seems to know what we need!
Yes, there are times I miss "the good ole days" of carefree life and self-centered bliss, but a kiss, a hug, and an "I love you" bring me back to reality!

I wouldn't trade anything for those hugs and kisses. Somedays they are my lifeline.

That was a wonderful post! Ahhh, to have a full night's sleep until whenever I wanted into the morning. Now, I have my own two little alarm clocks, and the morning starts on their time (6-ish), but hey, at least they're consistent. And yes, I agree the spontaneous hugs are the best!

I had my first when I was quite young so I never really experienced adult life without children. There are times when I wish I had. More often than not though I'm thankful for even the snotty noses. And that's saying something!

I'm glad I found your site. : )

Though my days before my son & Daughter didn't involve hot bands and etc... I have a boring life even before children, I do remember the days of snuggling with my hubby without a kid trying to climb in between, yet its more fun with them now!

Reading your post took me down memory lane. I remember the days before Caleb when life seemed so much simpler and definitely much quieter...LOL. But the hugs and kisses for no reasons or the I love you's just because definitely are so worth the fact that life isn't simple anymore and it's certainly not quiet now either. I wouldn't change being a mom for anything :-)

Great post Heather!
