I would be a blonde, but not have to dye my roots!

This is a very cool giveaway. My girls would love it.

P.S. I really, really like your blog. It’s our second date…I can say that! :)

This is going to date me, but My So Called Life was all over MTV my freshman year of college. I was inspired to dye my naturally blond hair red. Not auburn or strawberry. RED. I think the word cranberry was actually included in the name on the box. This would have been a fabulous color on someone with much darker hair. But it was WAY too much color on me and my pail skin. But the worst part was that I used a temporary dye, so after 10 days or so my hair was no longer RED, it was PINK. That pink lasted for an entire semester. That was the last time I dyed my hair from a box.

One thing I wish I could change would be my height. I’d like to add a few more inches. 5ft would be nice. :) Great giveaway!

I think I would probably make myself just a little taller because I’m pretty disproportionate right now.

My oldest daughter would die for that!!! She fills notebook pages with “fashions” she had drawn out.

When I was a teenager, I wanted to layer my hair but was too cheap to go to a stylist. It might not have been so bad if I hadn’t reverse layered (longest layer on top, shortest under on bottom) and it looked horrible. It also took forever to grow out, since my hair grows less than a quarter inch per month (3inches per year!).

Ah… This was on my oldest daughter’s birthday wish list! Her list was too long for my budget, though. :) She would be so thrilled if I were to win!

I’m not sure what one thing I might change about myself physically. I do need a good haircut & maybe some color… I go way too long between!

Oh my. In Junior High, I got a perm. It was horribly frizzy and poufy and just plain awful. Never again will I get a perm.

I do need a haircut right now though.

My daughter would go insane over this! How fun.

OK…back in High School I tried to get a perm. My hair was very long at the time, it hovered right about my butt. I spent 5 hours in the chair getting my hair rolled and chemically treated, not to mention the small fortune it was going to cost me because of the length of my hair! All done…it looked cute! The next day…straight as a pin!!! WHAT!??! I went back and thankfully was able to get my money back but I have never been able to recover the brain cells I lost sniffing all of those fumes for hours on end. :c) That was the last time I ever tried to do that!

My boyfriend had just moved to NYC for work and it was my first visit. I was in the city alone all day and decided to get my hair cut. Why not, right?! I found an Avon salon and figured, “Avon can’t be too expensive, right?” Needless to say that they cut it, highlighted it and before I left NYC that weekend, I was blond and $350 poorer! I guess someone should have alerted me to the fact that the Avon salon was in Trump Tower!! lol The blond was NOT for me, but I had to wait for it to completely grow out. Just one of my hair blunders :)

My biggest beauty blunder was allowing myself to get taken in by the smooth talking young man at the cart in the mall who assured me that his potions and lotions would work wonders on my skin. I spent more money on that than I would ever normally do and felt a bit like a fool afterwards. Ah well, I enjoyed it while I was there and steer far away from them now.

As for the gift you are offering, my 6 year old Diva would think this was the gift to end all gifts, I am sure. Please add my name to the drawing and thank you.

oh and what should we give away today? | Desperately Seeking Sanity

[...] Tuesday was pretty simple too. I tripped over that blasted Digimakeover, the one that was used once before being put back in the box two Christmases ago, for the gazillionth time. It was safe to say that it could go. I know many girls who love the digi makeover. My daughter is not one of them. Go figure. [...]
