Oh, dear ones… when my mind starts to ponder things, it’s scary.
(Oh and Soliloquy, you can stop reading now, because you won’t “get it” — ha ha)
Tonight an email came through announcing the tour dates for guess who?
NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK!!!
And we all know that I should go. Really, I think I should get a personal invite from their peeps with VIP access for all this promotion I do for them, but I digress.
There are seven locations starting in September and the first? Montreal.
CANADA.
Now, no offense to you Canucks, because I have many friends that are in the country that lies on our nothern border, but what do you have that we don’t?
Ok, besides cheaper medicine.
And besides no lottery tax.
And a year maternity leave.
These are great perks, really, however, none are perks that would apply to my boys.
But we (I talk as if I’m going with them) go from Montreal to Toronto and then on to East Rutherford, NJ. What happens in East Rutherford?
From there they will hit Uniondale, NY back to Beantown and then travel to Atlantic City, NJ before heading to Chicago where the schedule ends on October 4th.
Now here’s my question, and I MUST make a decision prior to the 17th of May. (Do you think it’s God’s blessing that my Tax Rebate arrives on the 16th?)
Do I wait and take my chances that they will add a stop somewhere in my general vicinity and it be on a date that I can actually attend OR do I get the tickets now as if these are the only venues they will ever play and take a little road trip with the BFF to Atlantic City in September? Because it’s on a Saturday night and I checked… the kids are with their dad.
Oh the decisions that plague my every day life.
So what would you do?
Until next time…
