That is funny. You now have Summertime in my head..which is ok. Did you see the video? It should have been more of them, than of the scantily clothed girls. Dont they know their catering to 30 something year old mothers?
I raise my (one) TGIF Sarnnac Belgian White Ale to you! (Sorry it’s not a sissy beer. I do like sissy beer too.) There’s something to be said for teaching children the difference between moderation=OK and excess= not good . WTG MOM!
Just a thought…
Proverbs 20:1 “Wine produces mockers; alcohol leads to brawls. Those led astray by drink cannot be wise.”
I John 2:10 “Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble.”
In Ephesians 5:18b it says to be “filled with the Holy Spirit.” It’s hard to park two cars in the same parking place. It really causes a mess. Just a thougth. There is more peace in Christ then there is in a drink. May He fill you with His peace! God Bless!1 Thessalonians 5:23
All that talk about my testimony.. and Lisa… and the spiritual talk that I’ve had on my blog… about dealing with Sam, and having the strength in Christ to handle it…
No comments there… not a way to go… good job… proud of you…
Nope… All those posts… and you pick TODAY to read… TODAY….
And I appreciate everything that you do and the spiritual guidance that you give me and the kids. I really do, Pastor Man.
I HATE disappointing you. I HATE when you think that I’m going down the wrong path…
That’s why I NEED for you to not read tomorrow….because that’s when I’ll be posting about my drunken, drug filled orgy….
1 Corinthians 10:23,31 23″Everything is permissible”—but not everything is beneficial. 31So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
Psalm 104:14-15
14 He makes grass grow for the cattle,
and plants for man to cultivate—
bringing forth food from the earth:
15 wine that gladdens the heart of man,
oil to make his face shine,
and bread that sustains his heart.
Greetings Heather… I think I’d like to meet with you about tomorrow’s post. jk Isn’t it amazing how I choose today to read? I didn’t want you to think I was stalking you. lol You are doing a great job! The comments were not meant to condemn but just food for thought. God is using you! Continue to keep your focus on him so that Satan will not be able to get a foothold. People are watching you. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11:1 “Follow my example as I follow Christ.” Keep pressing on! You have come a long way and God will lead you further!
I am so proud of you, admitting to the adult beverage. Life is complicated enough. God loves us and He knows us. I would say to those who condemn, “Judge not, that ye be not judged”
This is an argument/debate/discussion that I’ve been having with others for the last few years, so I feel your pain. Of course, my daughter isn’t old enough to be able to point out my weaknesses yet, so…
