so cute! I just hate that when a mother has to tell me how wonderful her child is. And then comes the dreaded question - I still haven’t found a way to answer it - so how’s your little girl doing?

Ugg. I should think of something precocious. But I can never think of it, and can’t really now either. oh well. I love’em. that’s what counts right?

Children have such a wonderful way of making their parents look stupid. As soon as we start bragging about them, they show the world that we are completely biased and that they still don’t have things figured out.

I’ve heard many women bragging on their child and how brilliant they are (what mom doesn’t think that of their own child?)…it’s always funny when a child contradicts exactly what the mom just bragged about. I usually quietly chuckle (I don’t want to let them know I’m on to them!)
