Justification and Follow Thru

I’m blogging from my iPad. For no other reason than when I bought my iPad (saved over a year for it from my bonuses, allowance and my ‘quit smoking’ gift) I swore one of the biggest things I would use it for was blogging.

And organization.

I’m pretty sure that’s how I justified the purchase.

And I haven’t done it.

I pretty much use my iPad to look up recipes and cook (thank you pinterest and praise all that is Holy that you FINALLY got your act together for the iPad), play games (Hay Day is my current addiction), and checking Facebook.

Sad really.

A few times this summer I facetimed with Thing 1. When my mom gets an iPad I fully intend to face time with her.

But I have not used my iPad to the best of its ability.

The kids love it.

My iPhone on the other hand is a different story. I would find it hard to live without it and use it for so much, which is why I want the iPhone 5.

I don’t need it.

There’s not much difference between the 4s and the 5.

But I want it. And my husband has an upgrade in 18 days. I could so get it. He said I could.

But Im not going to.

Nope.

Dear wonderful husband, aka santa – consider the iphone 5 on my Christmas list.

I don’t need it. I can’t justify the need for it. I just want it.

That and an egg scale. But I’ve already asked my mom for that.

Until next time…

  1. Good for you! I have yet to blog from my iPad and that was also my plan. I could live without my Pad and probably wouldn’t miss it that much. Although, it has now become my radio, I listen to Pandora on it all the time. I also enjoy watching movies on it from bed, reading and listening to audio books on it. But I still reach for my iPhone way more and I can’t justify getting a new phone until this one stops working, kind of like a car. “Why replace what ain’t broke?”

  2. Dear Heather, I have made a note on your list for a new iphone. Unfortunately the elves are having a hard time making the dang things. We are in process of retooling our shop. The little fellas cant seem to make a circuit board with their wooden mallets and chisels so this may take some time. However,You seem to be on the good list so far so we will do our
    best to fufill your request.
    Sincerely, Santa.
Ps. Your husband (wonderful, kind and generous man that he is) did tell me that he would assist in the process in exchange for your your 4s and a new bluetooth that will let him listen to his tunes. And a new otterbox of course. He isnt crazy about the pink one. Just sayin
