I never imagined that people would be excited about moving from Blogger to WordPress, however, the demand was so great that I’ve implemented these packages.

I’ve also partnered with Jo-Lynne at DCR Design to not only install wordpress for you with lots of other goodies, but also to include your very own custom header graphic and background.

Great for Current Bloggers who just want a little more umph in their blog!

Full Installation with custom header and background

• Domain Name for one year (additional years will be billed at $9.95/year)
• Hosting* for 1 year (additional years will be billed via automatic payment in PayPal at $20) includes up to two email addresses
• Installation of a wordpress blog on your domain name
• Installation of 1 premade WP theme
• Custom Header (provided by DCRDesigns)
• Installation of Akismet Spam, WP-backup, and 8 additional plugins of your choice

Great for those who already have a domain name and who want to use their own hosting, just need to get the technical stuff out of the way

Full Installation if you already have your own domain name and hosting with out custom header and background

• Installation of 1 premade WP theme (this is NOT a custom theme)
• Installation of Akismet Spam, WP-backup, and 3 additional plugins of your choice
• 1 hour training on your new blog (this may be a group training depending on how many others are also having installations done)

Desperately Seeking Just the Basics (Package E)

Great for those that already know their way around wordpress and have their own hosting and domain name.

• Installation of a wordpress blog on your domain name
• Installation of 1 premade WP theme (this is NOT a custom theme)
• Installation of Akismet Spam, WP-backup, and 3 additional plugins of your choice

Cost: $30

*Hosting is provided by Heather Jacobson and you will be supplied with a username and password so that you may upload files to your site. Please note that you will only have access to YOUR files and no one other than me will have access to YOUR files. You will have the option to set up two email addresses (with webmail or pop3/imap access) upon the start of the agreement.

Training
Wordpress Training will take place in an interactive chat room online in which I can show you your blog, your template and the options you have available to you.

We will cover such topics as

• Creating and editing posts
• Creating and editing pages
• Deleting posts
• Managing comments
• Auto post options
• How to change your theme
• Widgets
• How to add buttons and banners to your side bar
• How to add pictures to your posts
• How to back up your blog
• In addition to any other questions that you might have
• How to upload your own themes and plugins

Ala Cart Services

• One Hour of Group Training on WordPress (done in an interactive chat room online) $10
• Wordpress Upgrades (when a new version is released - please note, you do not have to upgrade every time a new version is released, although it is recommended) $10
• Plugin installation $5
• Header change (graphical work NOT included) $10
• Theme installation $10
• Blog Customization (font changes, color changes, etc after blog is initially installed - please note this does NOT include graphical work) $20 per hour - please contact me for a quote
• Hosting $20 per year
• Installation of a PhotoGallery (Gallery or Zen Photo) $20 **must already have hosting
